Tips untuk future dentist after convo


hi everybody.. today i would like to describe in detail what the future dentist to settle before getting a posting in government for compulsory services.

WHAT DO I DO AFTER CONVO? 🤔
Step 1:
Select 1 person from your group to book an appointment with Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) through ☎ after getting an original copy of Ijazah drg. and Transkrip drg. (Most probably after wisuda umum, NOT after SumDok).

For the appointment:
👚: Formal (Refer to MDC website)
⏱: <2 hours (For my group)
*Collecting of the documents by the secretary + Briefing from a dentist while waiting for the registration to be processed + Receiving your registration number and some other stuff for you to bring back, like forms (to be filled up once we start our journey as a FYDO, so keep them safe), booklets (read them to help you fall asleep at night), etc.
🗂: Bring an original and a certified true copy (unless stated otherwise) of:
- MDC Form 4 (1 form only) (http://mdc.moh.gov.my/uploads/borang-4_mdc_registration.doc)
- Ijazah skg. x 1
- Ijazah drg. x 1
- Transkrip skg. x 1
- Transkrip drg. x 1
- Passport-sized photos with blue background x 3 pcs
- Bank draft/Money order/Postal order RM150 (1 only)
- I/C x 1
- Birth cert x 1
- Sampul pos ekspres size A4 (1 only)

*... x 1 = 1 original + 1 certified true copy of ...
*Basic Dental Qualification = Ijazah skg. + drg.
*Who can certify the copies? Any government staff appointed at grade U41 and above, etc..
*Registrant may:
Collect the certificate personally/provide a self-adressed Pos Ekspres envelope (A4 size) (remember to keep one yellow sticker with the tracking number on it for online mail-tracking purpose) which will be sent out after 7 working days or MDC will post the certificate after 7 working days through registered post which will take a longer time to arrive.
*You may request for a
temporary registration certificate from MDC and have one of the staff certify the copy for you if you wish to submit the documents to Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia on the same day. I chose to wait for the original registration certificate from MDC to arrive and took another trip to Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia on a different day. Refer to Step 3 for more details.


Step 2:
Apply for work under Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam (SPA) through 🌎 after getting your registration number from MDC.

*Try to use a laptop when filling up the form because when you first create an account, the system will want you to key in the security code and I figured that I could only get through that on my laptop.

For the form (Just some of the points I myself found confusing):

Step 3:
After receiving MDC Registration Certificate/MDC Temporary Registration Certificate, go to Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) alone or in a group or mail the documents to the 🏢 stated below. No appointment needed. (I personally feel that it is safer for us to hand in the documents in person.)

For the submission of documents:

⏱: Done in <10 minutes (For me)
*Getting a pass from the receptionist at the table near the entrance and leaving behind a card with your picture on it (I left my driving licence in case the staff upstairs wanted to check the original I/C for verification purpose) + Placing the documents at the provided slot labeled Pegawai Pergigian Gred UG41 (hope I'm not mistaken) at Unit Pengurusan dan Profesional (the staff didn't even check the documents) + Returning my pass and retrieving my driving licence)
🗂: Bring an original and a certified true copy (unless stated otherwise) of:

Step 4:
After receiving an SMS and an e-mail from Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam (SPA), or simply login to your SPA account to check for an update regarding the interview, attend the interview at the location stated in the e-mail/SPA account.

For the interview:
👚: 👩🏻: Baju kurung to be safe + Shoes | 👦🏻: Formal + Necktie + Shoes
⏱: <60 minutes (For me)
*Arranging of the documents assisted by the secretary + Interview (Shouldn't be more than 30 minutes per interviewee if I'm not mistaken)
🗂: Bring an original and a certified true copy (unless stated otherwise) of:
- I/C x 1
- Birth cert x 1
- Sijil SPM x 1
- Sijil STPM x 1
- Ijazah skg. x 1
- Transkrip skg. x 1
- Bukti Sumpah drg. x 1
- Ijazah drg. x 1
- Transkrip drg. x 1
- MDC Registration Certificate x 1
- Sijil Ko-ku (Original only)
- Résumé x 1 (1 only)
- Passport-sized photo with blue background x 1
- E-mail from SPA x 1 (1 only)
- Clear holder x 1 (For easy flip-through of the original copy)

 This took hours.😫 Hope these come in handy for you guys.

Gaji dr pergigian Gomen

Saya baru je habis pengajian dalam bidang pergigian di satu universiti di tanah air Malaysia bawah tajaan JPA.sementara tanam anggur di rumah ..,try la juga usha berapa la gaji klau dh posting glm gomen nanti.,.
Dari pencarian sis di beberapa website dan dari encik google, insyaAllah sources boleh dipercayai, sis mk  share gaji pokok doktor gigi gomen ni..susah sangat nak cari di internet sampai terpaksa cari dan baca Pekeliling Perkhidmatan Awam..hehe. pekeliling-perkhidmatan-bil-36-2013
Lepasan ijazah bidang pergigian bermula dari gred U41. Untuk makluman, huruf U di permulaan U41 telah ditukarkan kepada UG41 mengikut pekeliling terbaru dari JPA berkuatkuasa 1 Januari 2017. Boleh baca di sini Pekeliling Perkhidmatan Bil 12 (2016)
